First, a late shout out to all the Batch 2009 graduates! Most especially to my Shin and sister Ena!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! J J J And good luck to both for they are yet to face major entrance tests to their careers: Pharmacy Board Exams for Ena and Bar Exams for Shin.

 Then on to my biggest booboo – did you know that I was driving for about two months with an expired driver’s license? Waahhh!!! Yes, I was that preoccupied and busy (pinagandang term for eng-eng,hahaha!) for the past weeks that it actually slipped my mind. Or it didn’t. I unfortunately thought that it would be three years before my first non-professional license would expire, but alas, I was wrong. It’s only until your second registration that you get a three year span.

And the funny thing is that I never bothered to check on it during my birthday (the driver’s license expires on the licensee’s birthday) because I had faith that my three years theory was correct. Someone else learned about it for me. Thanks to Alexa, had she not insisted on looking at my license (because I told her that it was my ugliest ID picture), I would have never discovered this booboo and God knows in what situation I would be able to find out.

Kaloka! I recalled all the places I went to after my birthday and cringe at my every thought of a close call with a traffic officer. I was travelling from Paranaque to Manila almost without a license, and would have gotten into real trouble because of that. At least now I know that luck is on my side, hehehe.

So I immediately had it renewed, and it’s worth saying that the system is worse than before, now they even take your picture for your medical so imagine how many more hours you have to waste waiting in line. I practically stayed at the renewal center in Ayala for a whole day, and please know that I came in early to supposedly avoid that hassle. Haaay, but I guess that’s my punishment for being irresponsible.

Now, I’ve learned my lessonJ. I am set to renew on February 17, 2012, and I’ll make sure to remember that.
